A unique, distinguished private club, the Capital Speakers
Club is home to a community of discerning women, with
a shared appreciation for public speaking.

Capital Speakers Club offers social events and programs
from September through June each year from winter ball
to teas and workshops. At the core of the Club are its
luncheon programs, where select members hone their
speaking skills with short speeches. It is a Club tradition
for luncheon programs to include a distinguished guest,
recognized in a professional, cultural, civic, scholarly,
diplomatic, or social field, who addresses the club.

The club remains true to its roots in the belief that public
speaking is empowering and excellence comes from
practice.
